Butler III, John C

John C. Butler III is an expert in environmental and product liability and insurance issues. With more than three decades of experience, Mr. Butler provides Gnarus clients with expert testimony and settlement support in environmental, product liability and insurance recovery litigation. He specializes in forecasting cleanup costs, cost allocation at hazardous waste sites and allocating costs to insurance policies.

Mr. Butler also focuses on the economic and financial implications of environmental and product liability legislation and regulatory policy.

Previously Mr. Butler worked as a consultant and has held senior executive positions at several top consulting firms. He also worked at the Environmental Protection Agency, the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Health Organization.

Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia with a concentration in mathematics, physics and chemistry. He earned a Master of Arts in Chemistry from Harvard University.
