Williams, Marcia E

Marcia E. Williams is an expert on solid and hazardous waste. At Gnarus, Ms. Williams’s practice focuses on regulatory expert and litigation support, environmental performance assessment and improvement, strategic environmental counseling and policy support and environmental business risk/opportunity evaluation and mitigation.

She brings a wealth of government and corporate experience to Gnarus. Ms. Williams held senior management positions in multiple offices of the Environmental Protection Agency during her 18 years with the agency. Her work in the private sector has included top-level positions at several distinguished firms.

Ms. Williams played a significant role in the development, implementation and enforcement of federal and state regulatory programs. She also provided expert testimony in a wide range of litigation matters, including insurance coverage cases, contract disputes, CERCLA cost recovery actions, toxic tort cases, federal and state civil and criminal enforcement matters and NAFTA cases.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Math and Physics from Dickinson College, and studied math and physics at the graduate level at the University of Maryland.
