Louis L. Wilde, PhD - Director
Dr. Louis L. Wilde brings a wealth of experience in academia and a strong consulting background to Gnarus Advisors. Louis served on the faculty of the California Institute of Technology from 1976 to 1992 and conducted extensive research on consumer behavior, industrial organization, and law and economics. Louis has been published in numerous academic journals and was awarded a variety of research grants and fellowships, including 11 National Science Foundation Grants, a Fellowship in Civil Liability from the Yale Law School, and a Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship.
Louis has been a fulltime consultant since 1992 and has advised and testified on a wide range of topics. His areas of expertise include antitrust, intellectual property, labor, toxic tort, entertainment, contract, and environmental economics. Louis’ environmental economics work primarily focuses on cost allocation, natural resource damage assessment, and property value diminution.
Louis holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Iowa and an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester.
